AMI primary trainer
Tayyaba Saleem is a qualified AMI Primary Trainer. She earned her Montessori Diploma at the 3–6 level in 1998 from the Montessori Teachers Training Centre (MTTC), now known as IMET, Karachi, affiliated with AMI Holland. In 2016, she conducted the first AMI Assistant Course in Morocco, followed by a second one in 2018. During her time in Morocco, she had the opportunity to work closely with children at Ecole Montessori, Casablanca. As the Director of Training at IMET, Tayyaba Saleem leads the AMI Primary Course (3–6) in Pakistan with exceptional dedication and expertise. She has also conducted multiple workshops for the Pakistan Montessori Association.
AMI elementary trainer
Madhavi Gaddam, the first AMI Elementary Trainer in Asia, is the Director of Training and is currently leading her third AMI Elementary Diploma Course under The Montessori Training and Research Trust (MTRT). She holds a Master of Education from Osmania University, Hyderabad, and has earned AMI Montessori Diplomas at the 3–6, 6–12, and 12–18 levels from Hershey’s Montessori, Cleveland, USA. As the founder of Medha Montessori School, Hyderabad, she has extensive experience in the Montessori Elementary environment. Over the years, she has assisted renowned trainers Ann Dunne (Ireland), Greg MacDonald (USA), and Kay Baker (USA) in their courses. Madhavi has also conducted several AMI orientation programs at the elementary level for centers in India and abroad. Currently, she serves as the Director of Training at MTRT.
AMI primary trainer
Lakshmi Shekhar brings over 15 years of Montessori teaching experience to her role as Director of Training at the Montessori Training Centre in St. Louis, MO. Certified in AMI Montessori instruction at both the Primary and Elementary levels, she has a deep understanding of Montessori principles, which fuels her passion for nurturing each child’s curiosity. She is dedicated to fostering a learning environment filled with comfort, joy, and a strong sense of belonging, ensuring that every child feels valued and empowered. Lakshmi’s commitment to holistic child development is complemented by her love for traveling, reading, and lifelong learning. Holding a Master’s degree in English Literature, she seamlessly integrates her academic background and Montessori expertise to inspire and educate future Montessori educators.
AMI Trainer for Assistants to Infancy
Vibhuti Jain has served as Director of Training for 0-3 Diploma courses at RTI Mumbai, India, at BMI, Beijing, China, and more recently at MSC Lagos, Nigeria. Vibhuti earned her AMI diploma at the 0-3 level in 2009 and set up an Infant Community in Mumbai, India where she worked for 8 years. Subsequently she joined the Training of Trainers program in 2017 and was associated with TMI Denver, USA; Chongqing, China, as well as the 0-3 Seminars at Vic, Spain. She attained her Trainer status in 2022. She has also served as an examiner in diploma courses at 0-3 level and has conducted orientation courses at various training centers. She is passionate about working in the area of 0-3 Montessori Education and strongly believes that this is the foundation for a better world. She currently lives with her family in Bangalore, India.
