Getting the Montessori diploma from AMI has been one of the most valuable learning opportunities in my life. It became a life-changing experience for me, and I happily switched my career from a marketer to an early childhood educator with no regrets at all. Iโ€™m from the 41st batch and feel blessed to have been trained by the best teachers, namely Ms. Abkar (late), Ms. Moin, Ms. Tayyaba, Ms. Hayat, Ms. Nelofer, and Ms. Salma Imtiaz.
No doubt, the initial training period was quite intense, but it gave me strong wings to soar through the harsh winds. As the years pass, I feel the Montessori principles have become a part of my personality, and I automatically apply them in all spheres of my life. Itโ€™s not only a teaching course but also shapes your own personality, fostering patience, empathy, a deep respect for others, confidence, and clarity to see real life.
I feel this is a must-do course not only to become a trained teacher but also to carve your own personality as a balanced human being.

During my Montessori training at the Montessori Teachers Training Centre in Karachi, Pakistan, I had a transformative experience while practicing the exercises. I was struck by the realization that each child has their own unique qualities and needs. This epiphany helped me shift from a rigid and judgmental mindset to a more empathetic and accepting one. I began to appreciate the beauty of individual differences and embraced the concept of ‘helping hands’ over ‘fixing minds.’ This experience not only refined my teaching approach but also softened my edges, making me a more compassionate and patient person. I learned to trust the process, respect the child’s pace, and celebrate the journeyโ€”lessons that now permeate every aspect of my life.
I would like to thank Mrs. Akber (may Allah grant her the highest place in Jannah, Ameen), Mrs. Moin, Mrs. Imtiaz, Ms. Tayyaba, and all others for making me a better teacher.

IMET Montessori Teachers Training Centre in Karachi, Pakistan, has taught me that beyond acquiring international early years education qualifications (3-6 years), it is about sculpting futures and cultivating responsible citizens. As an AMI-trained teacher, I embrace the wisdom, “It is easier to build strong children than to repair broken adults,” and embark on a journey of transformative education. I wish this place continued success and hope it spreads the knowledge of Dr. Montessori’s approach to education.

I decided to pursue the AMI course because my husbandโ€™s family runs a school. After finishing this course, I feel like I have emerged like a phoenix from the ashes. The course has not only taught me about child development but also opened my eyes to the immense potential of a child. The Montessori method covers not only math and language but also focuses on providing overall development for the child, helping them grow into an independent individual and a contributing member of society.
Ms. Tayyaba is a great trainer, and all the teachers were very helpful. I am very grateful to them for helping me every step of the way.

Still wondering where to start?
